Was surprised to pull this little toothy critter up from the depths! First catch of 2026 was definitely a new species. Tight lines, brothers & sisters!🎣

Back to back. Caught the snook, unhooked and took the Pic, relased and cast back to same spot and before I could set rod down the red hit. Both off small pinfish. Both right at 30 inches. Lost another decent snook off freelining a big shrimp. Buddy caught a couple smaller snook.
