Biting like Crazy Tonight.

Not a whole lot of numbers but the average size was definitely pretty good. Best catch of the day was this 16.5" white bass, but the hybrids were tons of fun on ultralight BFS gear.

Never got around to posting it at the time, but this was definitely my top catch of the year last year. Unfortunately didn't have a scale on hand, but at 28.5" long with a 18.5" girth, the L×W×G formula estimation puts it around 12.5 pounds(around 5 to 6 pounds above my previous PB). Definitely considered a nearly once in a lifetime fish for my area, which was made even better by the fact that I caught it on one of my own handmade wooden lures. Bonus picture: this same lure also got a really nice 20" long smallmouth less than 5 casts later, so this one day alone makes it one of my most successful lures, even if it never catches anything else ever again.
