Recent Catches At Swale River

Well haven’t been out fishing since Christmas time... went to the river swale... it’s been up-and-down recently and only just gone down to under a meter ... was still running quite fast so had to find any slacks I could... perch was my quarry ... as always but they weren’t playing ball ... well I had 2 pike and lost 2 in the fast flow .... not sure how big this was as didn’t weigh it ... was great to get out and wet a line ( and my net ) ... cracking day when the sun eventually came out but was only 4 degrees and thick fog on arrival ... home now and it’s sausage , bacon & egg time 😀😀😀🎣🎣🎣
