Grand Union Canal Slough Arm

Had a good couple Rudd and roach out the canal , pops caught a couple small perch too, lovely size on some of them , maggots on a size 18 hook

Decided to switch things up and float fish with some bread , main goal to catch a different species , and then the only bite I had was another perch😤. Not mad tho I’ll take what the water gives me .

The canal has life! My mate caught a chonker 🐄🐟

New pb on a fox rage shad , after 12 hours of collective blanking , the waters decided to gift me with this chubby little fella , first season fishing since I was probably 11 and exited for the winter when these baby’s fatten up

Dad caught a small pike , just as the sun set on a micro diver bait :) biggest fish between us this season
