Lake Huron

Went to Georgian Bay hoping for a big muskie or pike, but ended up catching the aurora lights and a bunch of tiny rock bass instead. Locals showed me pictures of huge muskies and pike, but like everywhere else this summer, they were complaining that nobody’s been catching much.

About 4 pound smallmouth bass in northern Ontario, on a boat casting and reeling from rocky areas, and I was fixing a birds net and as soon as I got it out I got this smallmouth, biggest smallmouth so far.
