Wabamun Lake

Caught my first Lake Whitefish! I've only ever seen one of these guys in person -- dead during the summer washed up on shore 🥹 My friend told me it was a brutally slow day even though we marked probably close to 100 fish but only got about a dozen to come play ☹️ hooked and lost a few but that's part of fishing! Between the two of us, we caught 3 and I took home the one that I caught! Been feeding the family for a bit now ✌️😁

First time ice fishing of the year, caught 1 walleye we, we seen whitefish swim by on the camera but had no interest on the bait

2 walleyes, we were going for whitefish but theyre to smart at this lake

Caught about 50 fish total. All small. Saw tons of white fish on the live feed. Also tons of dead floating white fish on the surface. Anyone know what could cause that?
