Finally beat the heat and nabbed this baddie at my usual spot. Been skunk city there almost all season. The line snapped and fell right at my feet.

Both I saw swimming just a few feet in front of me. Flipped it right in their face and they choked it. 💪🏼🎣

Caught this little guy after a while, pretty sure I may have caught the same one twice around 30 minutes later.

A couple nice ones on this rainy morning. Missed the hook set on the same fish about four times. No clue what was going on. Couldn't tell if it was just a small thing running with my bait or a seasoned veteran.
