Lake Haigler often eludes me but not today.

First catch of 2025 on a warm cloudy day. Used a Deps Cover Scat for bait on a 1/0 hook - weightless. Not a big one.

This is all I’m catching the last few days. Where are the bass?

Was trying out a new rig for me…slip float rig. Just caught these two sunfish.

First morning catch using a slip float rig with live red worms 🪱. Minnows weren’t available at my bait shop.

Caught this bass in shallow water under shade.
