Hit a bunch of Smallies while jig fishing the river

Took my daughter and her boyfriend out on the stream for a little wet wading. He never fly fished before...gave him some instruction..then he caught his first of many to come!! Lastly, my first cast in 9 weeks. Felt great. Time to start getting busy again. Tight lines!!

Tourney results: Ok ok. First off, it was very sunny... and... hot. Really hot. My knee hurt a tiny bit. Did I mention it was sunny??!!! She won. 4-1. My 4" perch didn't get photo'd. I threw top water, crank baits ...senkos. N o t h I n g. I went to night crawlers and fought a minnow. Lol. All good. Great day with one of my kids. She boated 2 perch and 2 bluegills.

Oh look!! There is (terrible) photo evidence of my trophy. 😂😂. Hopefully back on the stream with the fly rod soon! Good night.
