PB day! I lost one of my favorite lures at the pond this evening, so I tied on a 2/0 straight shank worm hook and a senko and went to town. Caught a few little guys and had quite a few more bites and near-misses, when this gal hammered my bait! Hook came out easy despite the blood, but I wanted to get her back in the water, so I took a quick pick of the scale and the fish and sent her on her way. It’s gonna be a good week!

3 largemouth is a nice way to start the day. First ever caught using a crankbait! 2’-5’ diving Norman square bill, modified with inline hooks instead of treble. Only posting pics of 2, since the third was a baby. Nothing too special about either of them. Both over a pound. The main thing is that it was a lot of fun and great to be outside on this beautiful, misty morrow!

Went out fishing and caught a turtle. The turtle was released the same direction it was heading.
