My first fish of the 2026 year! My largest was 19 3/4 long at 3.6 lbs. Strike King watermelon red flake with wacky rig set-up. All on Lews rod and spinning reel.👍 Tight lines my FishAngler friends!🎣

With a whole week of 70-degree weather, I figured it might be time to do some fishing. I caught some nice ones, all off plastic worms.

I really need to make it a habit to check my lines before I fish. I take it for granted that lines are okay. I have losted 4 Berkeley Whopper Ploppers, either line breaking or carelessly casting into brushes. That’s 60 bucks right there.🤬
