The panfish have been hitting my lures more than the LMB. But eventually caught some LMB. Tight lines!🎣👍

Just experimenting with a bubble gum hellgrammite and a 2 lb LMB hit it so hard I thought I had a 4 lber on. I did bring in about 4 lbs of surface algae.😀 I also caught this huge Warmouth off a Whopper Plopper out of all things. Tight lines!🎣👍

I decided to go early in the morning and caught a 3.0 lber @ 19.75 inches long and a 2.9 lber @ 17.50 inches long. The one LMB that I am holding with pliers had a disgusting lesion on his lip. Tight lines! 🎣👍

Largemouth bass can act a little “off” or sluggish for a couple weeks in May, but it’s not true dormancy. It’s tied to their spawn cycle, and what you’re noticing is very real. Should be picking up soon!🎣👍

Caught this beauty on a 5 inch Ocho watermelon red flake on wacky rig. This guy was 5 pounds and over 20 inches long.. Tight lines!🎣👍

The Berkeley Whopper Plopper, bone color 75 was again working well! I love the blow-up by the bass. Tight lines!🎣👍

Lol. This little guy had all three points of the treble hook in his mouth. But, I was able to get them out. I ended the day with a 3.2 lb LMB that was 20 inches long. I called him “Slingblade.”

Caught a beauty this evening. 3.3 lbs at 20 1/8 inches long. Strike King black & blue 5-inch Ocho Texas rig.🎣👍
