Smithville lake with my kayak. About 2 and a half hours by the W boat ramp cove. One 7lb catfish on a wacky worm. And 4 other decent LMB on blue plastic crawdad. And one bluegill on a spinner. spinnerfishing on am fishing

So pulled up this morning seen that it’s a two day tournament Martin Zeller and I said it’s not gonna detour us if I take a least one good LMB from them I’ll be happy Martin got on a nice sized schoolie at the first spot I couldn’t find a bite. So wee headed over to the damm I got a couple over ther so all in all a good outing 💯👍🏼🎣

So it’s a good thing I didn’t leave I went to my first spot it was taken of course so I headed to my second choice of spots off the point I caught a few a couple of weeks ago third cast up to the shallows in the rocks. Boom this big girl smacked the lipless crank bait. I was using what is so funny about it is I caught this big tank in front of two groups of anglers that were fishing in that tournament that were fishing in the cove back from where that point was at tight lines to everyone.👍🏼🎣💯

What’s this a Fishing tournament happening I all most turned around and went home But I didn’t

So today was a much better morning only thing is they all were in the same area of this point did not get bit any were else so I fished it till it didn’t give up any mor fish 🎣👍🏼💯

Only found a couple small LMBs and a small walleye today. Tomorrows another Day 🎣👍🏼💯

My Son and I got out this morning we got on a few LMBs and some Schoolies the boy got a nice 2 pounder and also a walleye no pics of the walleye I had a line in the water at the time but it was a Keeper 17” 🎣👍🏼💯

Was on my way to work my Boss calls me said I could have the day off to go fishing I couldn’t say no so I turned around headed back home to pick up the boat called Martin Zeller and see if he’s game he said yep we had great morning it was foggy as heck so we took are time getting to are spot we both got a few and lost a couple fun fun 🎣👍🏼💯
