Not my pb but close to it

Got to fish at a new location today. Man that wind was howling. I started off with a small keitech on a flashy swimmer but nothing. Switched over to a Savage gear Crappie swimbait but no takers. Even tried a jerkbait. Then I noticed a fallen tree in the water and decided to pitch a 3/8 jig into the center and pulled out the little guy. Not even a pound but better than a skunk. As I continue my way down the bank I discovered another tree in the water. I pitch it into the middle but nothing. I work the two sides with no luck and decided to toss it in the center one more time. There was no feeling to the bite. I lifted my rod and it started moving so I swung. She was only 2 and a half pounds but I'll take it. All in all it was a good day and the new pond has some promise to it.
