I realized late at night that a rod was still in the water. So I went out at 1:00 AM to get it and decided to cast it out a couple more times for the fun of it. On the second cast I got a bite! It was really exciting because I A) wasn’t expecting much and B) have never caught a bass before (some friends at the place I’m at have and I’ve watched them catch some, but I personally have not. So that was cool! It was funny too because I had to walk back and get someone to hold a light 😂
