Another Pinhook Pike! Bigger than my first one, she was a fighter. She pulled some drag and took a minute to tire out. Felt like I was reeling in a wet pillow. Makes me think I may be a little under-gunned if a decent pike burrows into the milfoil...

After weeks of fishing Pinhook Lake I FINALLY caught a pike from the bank. This lake is notoriously difficult for bank fishers due to high pressure. I am over the moon! Many mornings rotating between spinnerbait, spoon, and jerkbait. I've gotten a hit on the jerkbait before but it's harder to keep them pinned. The spoon finally won the day.

Ignore my ridiculous grip on this tiny guy, he was flopping like crazy! Saw a splash near a fallen tree in the river near Howard House. Got it in 3 casts with my new jerkbait. River fish are loving the X-Raps!

First river smally! I was using a weighted umm... Half whacky? My whacky broke in half so I rigged one half to be kind of weedless and it worked for this little guy.
