Struggled first half of day. Second half was like someone turn the switch on. Bass are such a$$holes. They could have told me not to come out in the morning. Lost 3 at the boat that were over 3lbs each and broke off 2 more.

Finally, fall has arrived. It's like we no longer have 4 seasons. Just summer and winter.

Biggest of 15. I was just happy to catch fish. It was 90 degrees yesterday, blue bird skies, and epic swamp a$$. Stay hydrated!!!

Woo-hoo! Finally got my boat back! Had to drive 4 hours to get it. Might as well do some fishing while I'm down here. Caught lots of shorts. Not complaining. After 4 weeks, I'm just glad to be catching something. Anybody familiar with this lake? I noticed a thermocline at about 12-15 feet. Is that normal? I don't remember seeing one last year.
