Hit the water about 8:30 am. First 2 hours was pretty good. Managed a handful of cookie cutter LGM bass and 5 of these wipers. The wipers were all the same size. For those of you who have never experienced hooking into a wiper, you need to get on it. These fish are pound for pound the strongest fighting fish. As soon as you hook one, all you can do is hang on tight. They make several drag ripping runs. They fight twice their size. The rest of the day I struggled. I'd catch one here and there but couldn't get a pattern together. Yeah, I suck.

FINALLY! Spent the last month fishing the white bass run and this is my first bass fishing outing this year. I think my scale is off. This bass was long and had a huge head. Also caught a 10lb drum. That was disappointing and exciting at the same time. I thought I had a huge bass and then saw the drum 😑 but then was like, "Holy Sh*t! It's huge!".😲

Sunset bite produced, kept for dinner. White swim bait in the upper water column in the last 15 minutes before dark.

Got out for the tournament this weekend and got some good fish 🎣 can’t wait to hit the water more this summer
