Nice to see a decent smallie after weeks of dinks. Maybe the change in seasons will bring a change of luck. Half a dozen others, all on hybrid silicone hair jigs.

Just when you think you have it figured out, you almost take the skunk. And the bass isn't even a smallie! Honestly though, can it really be called a skunk when you're in the stream on a terrific fall day? I think not.

What a difference 10 days makes. Water temp from 71 to 58, viz from <6" to > 3', smallies from near negative to positive mood. Over a dozen smallies bt 12" and 15" as well as PB 10" rock bass and a mussel just for heck of it. Great day to be in the water!!
