Fun catch. Hadn’t done salt water in a long time. Used some live minnow that is called “snook candy” or something

Couple of fun little mackeral at the beach this morning. Man, those ladyfish and lizardfish are becoming nuisance fish out there on the beach. Just about every other cast I get a lady or a lizard

I didnt measure or weigh it. I think it was ready to spawn soon or something cause it was very fat and I could barely hold it up like that. Plus, it didnt fight and breach the water trying to shake the hook like snook usually do. Just a strong pull with some small bursts. Hook was clean in the corner of the mouth and came out with no damage to the mouth. Walked it back in the water, held it upright and it darted off.

Beautiful trout caught in about 3' of water on a falling tide. Carolina rig using a 3 oz egg weight , #1 hook and a live shrimp. Released safely.

Barracuda and lady. I also caught a nice 23 inch mackeral but forgot to get a picture because the guy next to me wanted to keep it and I forgot to get a pic before I gave it to him.
