Low low tide completely out gunned was not paying attention when hit talking to a lady then I felt my lure stop and run 9 minutes later with help of neighbor next door to hold rod rocks super slick an sharp with oysters an my PB from shoreline out of a river and creek merger bridge awesome

Unexpected just dusted off gear taking few casts new braid dead dead low tide 10 th cast an boom thought snagged then swimming still thought small 12 inches until my drag was tight realized he was hooked an ran almost pulling me off slippery rocks but first of year at favorite spot so unexpected but awesome

Unexpected dead low tide just working my gear out from winter not really planning on a catch but surprise surprise

3rd cast bunker flashing all over outgoing tide 3.5 hrs into tide jerk bait boom instantly new it was big now in the branford River mill creek bridge oysters rocks everywhere 20 yds from dock an boat I was sure I was gonna loose fish 30 lb braid held up great kept it from rocks an dock holding spool since my drag was tight (mine u on a 7 ft largemouth Bass rod ) awesomr scary fight but landed it released it watched it swim off caught 2 more on top water but 27 & 23 inches .... light tackle crazy fight
