Every headshake from that steelhead sent adrenaline lighting up my veins. When it finally rolled into the net, I just stood there—breathing hard, grinning like an idiot. Not every trip ends this way. But when it does? Pure, unmatched magic.

I caught this guy. Then we both went home.

I'm standing at the very end of a river. This Steelhead has finally made it. It traveled tens of miles to reach its final destination. Along the way, it fought against strong currents, got past fallen trees, squeezed around obstacles, and jumped over dam after dam. It climbed over two hundred stairs to get here. I admire you, little warrior. What a fighter
