Honestly don't really know what this fish was? This was the only photo we got cause the hook got stuck in a weird way so me and my dad were more focused on getting it out then taking pictures and identifying it.. it was pretty flat so I don't think it's a bass? I don't know, cute fish though!! <3 [edit: someone said it was a Rock Bass which seems like the right answer!]

WOOOOO FINALLY CAUGHT A LARGEMOUTH BASS AND WAS ABLE TO LIP A FISH!! (i'm too scared to lip a fish with a smaller mouth 💔) EITHER WAY I'M SO HAPPY!!!

I caught this fish but I unfortunately wasn't able to get a photo with it in my hands because the fish was out of water for a bit too long and we wanted to put it back quick. Either way! Still super happy with this little guy!!

Oh my gosh. THIS GUY IS INSANE. Went under the dock and all! Unfortunately he had a hook in his stomach from another fisher, didn't die but it looked pretty bad :[ Either way, when in doubt, buy some worms 🪱🪱

I thought this was a small mouth but this app says it's a large mouth! It's hard to tell but either way super happy that I caught something that isn't a Bluegill!! YAYAYAY 🎣

Another Bluegill caught! This one was interesting because I was lying down, holding the line since i'm just fishing off a dock, and when I felt a tug, I yanked up, and I had it! Fishing with marshmallows is actually really hard honestly.. the fish always eat it away and don't hook on properly. If anyone had any tips please share! Thank youu!! 🙏
