ALMOST GOT A BIG ONE!!!!… ⤵️ Had a quick little unplanned 1 hour outing yesterday…headed to the Harbour quite early before all the holiday makers woke up! (It’s a tourist town)…. Fast incoming tide, dirty water (after rain) and lots of bait fish around. Spoke with another fisher dude whom I run into quite often and he caught several Travelly the day before. Nothing today. I managed 2 small Bream ans a Butter Bream but ended up dropping a bigger 30cm one just as I was trying to manouvre it over the rocks. Sadness!! By 8am the sun was already killer and I called it quits! Always nice to get out though. Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻

GOTTCHA! ⤵️ You know those days when you’re not feeling the love on anything but you still drag yourself out of the house for your stupid mental health…today was one of those days….and……so glad I did. Not only did I get plenty of Vitamin D sunshine, nature and lovely chats…but also a Whopper of a Bream. A solid unit at 35cm caught on my light gear! Super stoked with that. Not forgetting a few extra smallies to round off the session! I hope Everyone has an amazing weekend! Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻

HIGH TIDE SADNESS TO GLADNESS! Saturday morning on high tide….I wasn’t expecting much today but I wanted to take my friend Jeff fishing. So we met up at the Boat Harbour and made our way through the hundreds of Camper Vans, rubbish and people. The water on the other hand was super calm and clear. And thanks to my polarised sunnies I could see right to the bottom. First cast in…imagine my surprise when a pan sized Flattie showed interest in my offering. However it was short lived and after 3 attempts he decided that it wasn’t for him and he moved on. Sadness. A little Stingray kept me company but not much interest otherwise so we moved across to the pier. Where after a short while Jeff wrangled in a nice 26cm Breambo shortly followed by me with a barely legal one. 🐟 We changed spots to further up river under the highway bridge but sadly no takers. We did however see a magnificent Osprey dive bomb into the water and snag a fish…only to parade it past us in the air as if laughing saying ‘Suckers you can’t catch one’…🤪🦅 We called it a day at 10am with the sun becoming borderline obscene above. 🌞🔥 A nice little morning outing with company and we chased the skunk away! Have a beautiful weekend everyone! Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻

FriYay FishDay! Quick little outing after I finished the paperwork. Didn’t really hold out much hope in such a gloomy day…but the clouds sorted and the wind died down and I got myself a solid 35cm Breambo under the Jetty at the Harbour. Plus a bonus little Bream to boot! I hope everyone else gets to duck out for a quick fish too. Tight Lines my friends 🐟💪🏻
